Mesa's sire is registered with the IHWHA and with the CRTWH: both of his sire's parents are gait certified with the heritage registry; both have also completed the PFE with the CRTWH. Mesa's dam is a daughter of Dude's Ragtime Man, an exceptional stallion who sired many great offspring here in Canada. Rain has the signature movement and gait of a Ragtime baby that made them so competitive in the showring.

Mesa is the spitting image of his dam, Rain. He has a big sweeping stride and a finely chiseled face. He ties, is good for the farrier, loads in the trailer. I would describe Mesa as shy, sensitive and at the same time, sensible. He has a lot of potential.
