Blackie is an 8 year old registered Rocky Mountain gelding. Blackie is well broke with a smooth saddle gait and beautiful lope. He has been ridden everywhere and by our whole family. He has been ridden up and down sand dunes, across pasture land, through cattle, elk, deer, and dogs. Blackie has been exposed to gunfire, obstacles, water, you name it. He is as steady as they come. This wonderful horse is owned by a good client of ours who suffered an injury that is not related to horses or riding. Although our clients injury has healed, the thought of re-injury has forced him to make the hard decision to sell his horse. Blackie spent last August with us and while he was here, he went to gymkhana every week with Steeve's daughter. He came back this spring for a refresher and it was like he worked all winter. Blackie remembered everything and picked up right where he left off. This gelding is not hot or spooky. He would do well with a confident beginner and up.
