Dusty is double registered with the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association and with the American Bashkir Curly registry. He is smooth coated and is not homozygous for curls. Dusty has a pedigree that mixes world champion bloodlines like Zane Grey with foundation bloodlines like Lady Anne and Golden Governor. He also traces back to Curly Jim, a famous gaited curly stallion.
Dusty has a wonderful mind and is very easy to handle. His movement speaks for itself; he exhibits beautiful easy gaits at liberty.
Dusty is the sire of our own gelding, RTE A Dust of Black Gold, a 16 hand curly coated Missouri Fox Trotter gelding. Magnus has competed in Competitive Trail and is a seasoned mountain horse, leading pack strings in the Willmore (and packing occasionally as well).
